Travel Guide: Florence, Italy
I’ve lived in Florence and the Tuscan countryside for most of the past decade. I earned my Master’s degree at the Università degli Studi di Firenze, with a focus on Italian regional culinary and agricultural traditions. As an Italian-American, a feminist, a queer person, and someone who cares deeply about the environment, I try to offer advice for an inclusive, respectful experience of Italy for travelers and locals alike.

My standard Florence travel guide contains a list of my top 50 places to visit in town, each accompanied by detailed notes, along with an interactive map. The guide is available for $25 and includes everything from restaurants and wine bars to artisanal gift shops and museums. I have carefully selected these destinations in order to support places that are small, unique, family-owned, women-run, and eco-conscious.
